Kington Camp

The Kington Camp Collection

During the course of the project we have gathered information about Kington Camp: documents, photos, audio material from interviews and transcripts. These have all been placed in the Kington Camp Archive and you can search for them on this page.

New for 2008
Many new things have been added to the collection over the past year – particularly audio clips, slideshows and photographs. Have a browse through the collection by using the search box above, or have a look at our online exhibitions to explore our showcased items.

What's in the collection?

The collection includes the following:

  • Photos: a collection of images ranging from photos taken in the 1940s right through to the modern day camp.
  • Audio: listen to sound clips from our oral-history interviews.
  • Text resources: transcripts of oral-history interviews and other text-based resources including potted histories and factual pieces.
  • Maps and plans: a collection of official and hand-drawn maps concerning Kington Camp.

Below is an example from our collection.
