Eileen Walters Transcript

Interview with Eileen Walters who met her husband Jack Walters when he was posted to Kington Camp in 1940. Jack had fought at Dunkirk with the Essex Regiment and they were regrouping and recovering at Kington when Eileen went to the camp to entertain the troops with her father who was a dance instructor. Eileen and Jack were soon married and Jack returned to fight and win the Military Medal. After the war they settled in the area and started their family.
