Joan Billingham Laundry

Joan Billingham talks about what it was like to work in the laundry that washed the sheets from the hospitals. All of the hospital laundry was sent out to be washed and the laundry in Kington was one of several used, some being at least 60 miles away. Joan remembers that the sheets were often covered in blood and obviously from the operating theatres.
