Kington Camp

Phyllis Williams Transcript

Interview with Mrs Phyllis Williams whose future father-in-law farmed Mahollam Farm during the war. She was a young girl at the time and remembers the soldiers being around Kington. She saw them training in the fields near her home in nearby Brilley, and marching on the roads. After the war she married Ivor Williams and moved to Mahollam Farm. Mrs Williams also talks about the requisitioning of the land and the Mahollam landlords - the Romilly family.
