Kington Camp

Tony and Beryl Richards

Photograph of Tony Richards and his wife, Beryl, taken during their interview. Tony was a small boy during the war and lived with his Mother in a house on Cutterbach Lane, which overlooks the Hergest Road. Tony remembers the troops marching up and down the road, especially the Black Watch. He also remembers a Military POliceman called Joe who gave him a Silver Dollar when the US troops left in 1945.
